This dining hall has great ventilation, is supplied with tables and chairs, and a piano. There is a full kitchen: range, refrigerator, coffee maker & microwave. We wash our own dishes and cleanup as we depart. This is a neighborhood park with some parking close to the door; additional parking is scattered around the park.

Description:

The Battle for Notre Dame (56 Mins): On Monday, April 15, 2019 the world watched in horror as Notre-Dame, Paris’ iconic cathedral, burns. While news stations around the globe cover the events and the streets fill with people in shock, an extraordinary story was taken place behind the scene. Just a few key moments decide the fate of the Notre Dame, saving it from total destruction.

Director Emile Lacon gained access to unpublished images and exclusive testimonies from the Paris Fire Brigade General Gallet, who after the astonishing collapse of the spire, masterminded the last-ditch attempt to save Notre Dame. With no time to spare, he scribbled a strategy on a single piece of paper. The plan put the lives of dozens of people at risk.

Rebuilding Notre Dame (53 Mins): Director Jody Lubman takes us behind the scenes with a team of engineers, masons and timber workers tackling the daunting challenges of restoring the historic landmark.

Description: Upriver Village invites you to join them at the Gresham Senior Center for the monthly garden workshop, led by Kathy Berry from Growing Gardens. Theme: Growing Herbs. Participants will receive a planting tray with pots and seeds, and a planting guide. You will take home and contribute some to planting later in the Senior Center garden (in the parking lot out back).
