Earth Day Community Celebration at Multnomah Village - RWV Booth When: Saturday, April 20th from 10 AM to 4 PM Location: Along SW Capitol Hwy between SW 31st and SW 35th St., Multnomah Village (Click on the Google Map icon (below) for the event location.) Description: Earth Day - Community Celebration at Multnomah Village. Activities all day to honor the planet! Join the Fun ! There will be food, open shops, and kids activities. Come out and enjoy the day. There will be music, a new park will begin to be created at 36th & SW Troy St., a SOLVE clean- up, a scavenger hunt, a shredding event plus much preparation from the local businesses. The Multnomah Business Association organizes this event. The River West booth will be located at the Level Beer outdoor space from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We need volunteers to staff the booth two-hour shifts starting at 10 AM. Contact the River West Office, 503-495-4934 or info@riverwestvillage.org, to volunteer. Let us know if you have a shift preference. This event is different from Multnomah Day because it doesn’t have booths and foot traffic is much more brisk along Capitol Hwy. We need enthusiastic and engaging members and volunteers to spread the news about our Village and reach new prospects. RWV Booth: The River West Village booth area will be in front of Level Beer Taproom, next to Annie Bloom's Books.
