Thanks so much to each Village for your very helpful responses to the Leadership Survey recently completed by your Village Councils. All 10 Villages participated! As a result on June 15, Villages NW invites you to the first in a series called, “Villages Leadership: Listen, Lunch and Learn.”
Any villager interested in learning from other Villages by sharing ideas and building new skills is welcome to attend. Feel free to also invite any member or volunteer you are talking with about an administrative or team role to join you. This forum will focus on (1) leader recruitment and retention as well as (2) how to improve engagement for specific tasks and projects. These two areas were among the top priorities suggested by your Councils in the survey.
Part of the program will consist of a panel drawn from Villages who are actively implementing methods of leadership retention and engagement. Box lunches will be provided.
We are asking for RSVPs by June 10th (http://evite.me/ebkQ5fGt5J) because space is limited and lunches have to be ordered. If you are vegetarian or have special dietary needs, please tell us in the comments section of the RSVP.
