Foodways: Oregon Food Bank Farm Tour
A Collaboration of Villages NW, Che Figata! And NE Village PDX
When: Thursday, September 28th, starting at 11 AM
Where: 7900 NE 33rd Drive, Portland
Oregon Food Bank (OFB) Farm Manager Lisa Waugh will be leading a tour of this volunteer-based farm. Attendees will learn how the farm supports the mission of the OFB, the role of volunteers in tending to the farm, how food is distributed and what types of crops are grown. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how you can support this critical organization while learning techniques to apply to your own garden.
